Calgary Artist Studio Tour 2026

I’m excited to be participating in this year’s Calgary Artist Studio Tour

I will be part of a collective of artists, sharing work together in a beautiful home setting in Okotoks.

This experience offers something a little different.

Rather than visiting a single studio, you’ll step into a shared creative space, where multiple artists are gathered, each bringing their own perspective, process, and body of work.

I will be showing a selection of finished pieces alongside works in progress, offering a glimpse into both the outcome and the process behind my work.

Planning Your Visit

The tour is now live on the Toureka App, where you can explore participating artists, save your favourites, and map out your own self-guided route.

It’s a beautiful way to move through the experience at your own pace and discover spaces you may not have otherwise found.

Details

Dates: May 1st, 2nd & 3rd
Location: 3 Cimarron Estates Way, Okotoks, AB, T1S 2P3
Hours: Friday 4pm-8pm, Saturday 12pm-5pm, Sunday 12pm-5pm

If you’re drawn to art that feels grounded, textural, and evolving, I would love to welcome you into this shared space.

What The Mountain Keeps - Art Series 2025

In the hush of high altitudes, memory clings like mist.
“What the Mountain Keeps” is a new body of work rooted in the silence between snowfalls where beauty, danger, and transformation coexist.
Created in conversation with Peril in the Alps, this series explores inner landscapes through Indian ink, plaster, and wool.
These are not just paintings. They are meditations on what the mountain remembers and what it asks us to forget.

Multimedia

Organic. Intuitive. Textured.

Patricia’s multimedia works blend wool, ink, wax, and thread to express emotion through raw, layered forms.

Ceramics

Earthy. Imperfect. Honest.

Hand-built pieces that hold presence. Shaped by touch, inspired by nature, and meant to be felt.

A Different Kind of Beginning: Creating Without Pressure

The new year often begins with pressure to become, to improve, to hustle. We’re flooded with resolutions, goal-setting, and the subtle belief that who we are now is not enough.

But this year, I’m beginning differently.
Not with a list.
Not with urgency.
But with a quiet return to self.

The Art of Uncertainty: Why I Turned to Abstraction

I didn’t always paint like this.
There was a time when I believed I had to get it right. That art had to be clear, representational, perfectly formed. That people needed to understand what they were looking at, or it didn’t count. That’s what I thought art was.
Until one day, it wasn’t enough.

Becoming Through Art: My Journey as an Artist

I’ve always known I was creative.
Even as a child, I was building, crafting, painting, finding joy in creating with my hands. That was my happiest place. Not because anyone told me it mattered, but because something in me needed to create. It was never about learning to be an artist. It was always about remembering that I already was.
